Create a mural with great expertise;
Paint scenes depicting Thanksgiving and Peace.
Start with a mountain, majestic and grand;
Drape it in mist like the palm of a hand.
Sketch in the bear, the eagle, the deer;
Wind little streamlets, icy and clear.
Plunge shaggy cliffs straight down as they go
Or drop a worn path toward the village below.
Show me a valley bursting its seams;
Paint in the harvest; lace it with streams.
Dapple with yellows; touch it with red;
Rustle the wings of wild geese overhead.
Find me a fence, split-rails asunder;
Nestle the crops from chill winds and thunder.
Dig me a well; construct a cool fountain;
Plant me some maples to color my mountain.
Place a stone seat by the mural and then
Teach me to share God's blessings with men.
